Schools in Nassau County, Florida

One district stretches from Amelia Island across to the Georgia line at Hilliard. The campuses, and what the state records about them, are below.

Nassau County School District · Florida Department of Education 2024-25 file, snapshot dated 30 June 2026 · confirm attendance zones with the district

Nassau County is really three different places sharing one school district. There is the island — Fernandina Beach and Amelia — then the fast-growing middle around Yulee and Wildlight, and then the rural west out through Callahan, Bryceville and Hilliard.

Yulee is where most of the growth has landed. New elementary capacity has been added there in recent years and zone lines have moved with it, which makes this one of the few places in Northeast Florida where I would insist on re-checking the assignment even for a house you looked at last year.

Below is the full district roster from the state's 2024-25 file, grouped by grade band, with addresses, phone numbers and the learning-gains percentages Florida publishes.

Read this before you shortlist a house on schools

This page lists schools by where the school building is, not by which homes it serves. Attendance zones are drawn by the school district, they are redrawn from time to time, and two houses on the same street can sit in different zones.

  • Confirm the current zone for the exact address with the school district before you make an offer: Nassau County School District.
  • Magnet, charter, choice, virtual and private schools do not follow the residential zone at all — each has its own application and eligibility rules.
  • Learning-gains percentages are a single year from one state dataset. They are not a school grade and they are not advice.

Fair-housing note: schools are described here in factual terms only. Choosing where to live is yours to make.
